Naomi works with clients undergoing stressful life transitions, and experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief. One area of specialization includes; perinatal depression and anxiety, pregnancy and infant loss, and infertility.


Naomi Rosenkranz M.S., M.S.Ed. has experience counseling individuals, children, adolescents and families undergoing life transitions, and suffering from anxiety and depression. Naomi has advanced training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility, perinatal and infant loss, bereavement care, and Gottman Couples Counseling.  She earned her B.A. from Yeshiva University in Biology, an M.S. in Neuroscience and an M.S.Ed. in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Miami. Naomi currently has a private practice in Miami and facilitates Perinatal and Infant Loss support groups for Postpartum Support International and The Children's Bereavement Center.  In addition, Naomi is a volunteer Postpartum Support International coordinator, and a member of American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Naomi loves her career path, and there is nothing more satisfying than watching clients flourish and live up to their potential.

Naomi began her career at Yeshiva University, where she earned her B.A. in biology. As an undergraduate, she trained at the Marine Biological Laboratories in Woods Hole, MA and NYU Medical Center studying the retina and oculomotor system respectively. Upon graduation, she worked in a Laboratory at Rockefeller University, and thereafter earned her M.S. from University of Miami, with a specialization in Neuroscience.

Utilizing her scientific knowledge, she taught high school science and focused on students who require more individualized attention and alternative teaching strategies. Naomi has completed Postpartum Support International training on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trainings on pregnancy and infant loss, and the coursework for Infant Mental Health certification. In addition, she is a certified Gottman Bringing the Baby Home Educator and Gottman Seven Principles Leader, and completed Level 1 & 2 Gottman couples counseling.  

She worked at the Institute for Individual and Family Counseling (IIFC), providing counseling services to individuals, children, adolescents, couples, and families from multicultural backgrounds. She also worked at the Mailman Center for Child development providing therapy to children with behavioral, developmental, and emotional difficulties. Naomi is currently a co-facilitator at the Children’s Bereavement Center and a volunteer state coordinator and group facilitator at Postpartum Support International.
